Un Problème Pixelisé
Ubisoft, 2010
This committee is one of McMUN's bilingual Specialized Agencies. A working fluency in both french and English is necessary to participate in this committee.
Welcome delegates to the French-bilingual Ubisoft specialized agency, where you will debate and solve the most important issues that the famous video game company has encountered until present day. From Assassin's Creed, to Just Dance, or Rayman, Ubisoft has created as many iconic games as it has faced widespread controversies. Indeed, between moral panic surrounding video games and the condemnation of worker conditions within the institution, passing by copyright issues, this specialized agency will touch upon a variety of interrogations surrounding Ubisoft's functions, internal mechanisms and international impact.
Delegates will have a chance to discuss pressing concerns faced by the video game industry, address public allegations and respond to moral crises in order to strengthen Ubisoft’s influence and market strategies in the industry of the future. This committee will follow several leaders and members of Ubisoft as well as offer a voice to external representatives such as psychologists, video game creators, feminist activists and worker unions. The outcome of this agency is up to you delegates, but one thing is certain : Ubisoft must adopt a new game plan.
