McMUN encourages all delegates and staff to embrace Indigenous voices and perspectives in all aspects. As McMUN takes place on unceded land, everyone is invited to rethink their position in the world amid ongoing colonial or exploitative structures, both during the conference and beyond in their lives as global citizens.
Pillar 2: Challenge.
McMUN provides a competitive environment where individuals are given the opportunity to debate and resolve global issues. Participants and staff are encouraged to challenge the status quo, and question norms. McMUN offers the opportunity to consider their futures and how they can best adapt to the dynamic global environment to promote individual and community growth.

McMUN offers dynamic opportunities where all participants are encouraged to be bold, daring, and respectful in thought and action, creating a unique experience that is rewarding for all individuals. Through its ongoing commitment to promote diverse, inclusive, and open dialogue, McMUN is a platform for the emergence of innovative and creative thought in the leaders of tomorrow.

McMUN cultivates a positive environment for delegates and staff to engage in impactful relationships and build a community centred around youth empowerment, collaboration, and respect. McMUN intends to enhance global awareness and awaken students’ will to enact change in their own communities and around the world.
