Who Let the Dinos Out?

The Jurassic Park Incident, 1993

Based on the incredibly popular Spielberg film, this committee will take delegates back to 1993, six months after the events on Isla Nublar. The committee will take the form of a US government subcommittee looking into the events that transpired in the first film, as well as regulating and monitoring future approaches to genetic modification. Together, we will have the opportunity to engage in debate on a wide variety of topics, ranging from deciding if dinosaurs should have rights, to debating the intricacies of what a new park could look like, there is sure to be no shortage of interesting topics to be covered. Delegates will be representing characters from the films, as well as government officials looking into the situation, and a whole host of others as well! It is sure to be an enjoyable and interesting committee, as long as delegates aren’t too worried about a few minor T-rex rampages and velociraptor attacks.
