Oyez, Oyez, Oyez!

It is with a heavy heart I announce the passing of our beloved Emperor, Charles VI. His reign was long and wise, and his death will be felt throughout the Empire, but with his passing comes a new hope, and a new leader in Maria Theresa, the Archduchy of Austria and the Queen of Hungary and Bohemia! She is a graceful and charismatic leader who will one day leave a lasting mark in the history books, mark my words. But she is also young and impressionable, and needs your help to make sure the Habsburg Empire does not fall apart. Our beloved country has been in steady decline over the past few decades, and other great European powers are circling us like hyenas, waiting for us to misstep and send our Empire crashing down. We have also heard rumours that Fredrick the Great (at being a loser) is plotting against us, and with his rejection of the Pragmatic Sanction, it will only be a matter of time before his armies are knocking at our border. With all these threats at our door, we need your help to make sure our beloved Empire can once again establish itself as the preeminent European power. With that said, our future is now in your hands, and we need your help to show 18th Century Europe who runs the world (Girls).
